Hi,

I have a cheap Samsung 730SC from Softbank.

I really want to archive and safe my SMS and Mails which I have written and received. Is there ANY option to get them on the PC?

The same goes for Fotos (but thats not soo urgent).

Maybe
* Is there a way to access the S!Mail Account via Webmail, IMAP or POP ?
* Is there a program to transmit with Infrared to a PC
* Is there an interface cable which makes it possible?

Any tip would be greatly appreciated!

Hi - you know I have the same questions! My model is a Casio, I changed it recently b/c they discontinued the service for my previous model (the things one has to do!). I used to just send mails and pics to my PC email account, costly I know, but up until now I didn't know how to do it any other way. I thought sending via Infrared would work, it didn't. And the pics quality were so-so.
Have you tried going to a Softbank store and asking? I might but I keep postponing it

If you haven't tried already, and if your Japanese isn't up to speed, they do have an English phone-in service.

I think I've ever seen some interface cables for transferring data from cell-phones to pcs.
Try to inquire at your nearest electronics store or softbank shop. If they exists, chances are high that you can find cheaper ones at the 100 yen shops.
